The White Tiger is a book beautifully written by Arvind Adiga. The story revolves around the life of a rickshaw driver’s son, Balram Halwai. Balram is determined to break the shackles of caste and step out of the vicious circle of poverty, leaving his family behind. He goes on to become a chauffeur, and later in life a successful businessman. How this would usually be achieved by one through hard work, this plot has a twist. Balram sure did reach the heights of life to get success and money, however, the path he chose was that of injustice and was wrong.
